Friday morning traffic: Highway 1 collision in Aptos; lane closures on Hwy 1, 9

Here s what s happening on the roads this morning new incidents Road incidents as of 6:30 a.m. on October 16 A traffic collision happened at 6:00 a.m. today on northbound Highway 1 at the State Park Drive offramp in Aptos. A blue pickup truck and a dark gray sedan were involved, but both vehicles were able to move to the side of the road. No one was injured. CHP officers responded and helped both drivers. The incident was first thought to be a hit and run, but was later classified as a non-injury traffic collision. South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures because of paving work.
