Thursday morning traffic: Crash blocks lanes on San Juan Rd; Hwy 1 closures ongoing

Here s what s happening on the roads this morning new incidents Road incidents as of 6:30 a.m. on October 22 A traffic collision happened at 5:53 a.m. today at 1450 San Juan Rd in Watsonville / Pajaro. A dark blue small Honda sedan and a light gray larger SUV were involved, and both vehicles were disabled and blocking lanes. One person had minor injuries. Tow trucks were called for both vehicles. A person was seen stumbling on the right shoulder of Highway 1 North at Salinas Rd, causing a traffic hazard. Someone driving by almost hit them. This was reported today near Watsonville and Pajaro. South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19. Highway 9 at Pool Drive
