Here s what s happening on the roads this morning new incidents Road incidents as of 8 a.m. on October 7 Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley will have alternating lane closures because of bridge work. This will continue until April 30, 2027, at 6:59 a.m. South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19. Defective traffic signals were reported at Chanticleer Ave. and Capitola Rd in the Eastside / Live Oak area. The lights for going straight were not cycling properly between 6:00 and 6:15 a.m. today. CHP helped Caltrans with maintenance work early this morning at 1600 Mm9 N Scr 16.00 in San Lorenzo Valley. The incident was reported today.
